At Moes, we use mainly products from the region that are in season, supplemented with authentic ingredients from other countries.

From cocktail hour, we serve a daily changing range of small bites and complete meals. The dinner menu has frequently changing dishes. We anticipate on the offer of our suppliers. And you can enjoy the finest seasonal produce, day after day.

Like the artists at De Appel, the cooks in the kitchen of MOES experiment as well with presentation and combinations. Culinary and artistic research go hand in hand.

On weekends, we are also open for lunch – or late brunch – from noon.


MOES serves a pretty good espresso or latte macchiato. You can also order a take away coffee when you have to catch the bus which fortunately stops right in front of the door. Are you a tea drinker? We have different flavours of tea leaves by the glass or in a pot.

MOES is the tasting room of Amsterdam Brewery De 7 Deugden. So always a wide range of local craft beer on draft and bottle. There is a wide choice of soda and juice, also organic. On festive occasions you come to us for MOESseren (sparkle with a twist). Bubbles taste not only good from a champagne bottle; try a sekt or cider instead.

The modest wine list is carefully composed. Many biological, always made with love and care. By the glass, bottle or measuring and paying the exact amount that you drunk. At dinner, you may also bring a bottle of wine from your own stock. For 10 euro corkage fee we open and serve it. As the Dutch say: That saves a sip on a drink.
